On July 14-15 we were present at the first Soundgirls Expo Orlando held at Full Sail University. Bigs thanks to Beckie Campbell for having us be part of this amazing event.
For those of you that don’t know, Soundgirls is a non-profit organization founded by renowned engineers Karrie Keyes (Pearl Jam) and Michelle Sabolchick Pettinato (Mr. Big) with the mission to empower women working in the music industry, and this event was exactly that, empowering.
With a good deal of vendor presentations and panel discussions, the overall vibe of the event was overwhelmingly positive, with a perfect balance of willingness to share knowledge and experience and willingness to learn.
In representation of CTM, our main Audio Engineer Castor Milano share a concise presentation on why use in-ears and how to choose them, after which the attendants had the chance to listen to all our product line and experience what our company is about, as well as had the chance to get hands on experience with gear by Allen & Heath, Shure to name a few.
At CTM we are proud to say that we are an active supporter of the Soundgirls initiative and can’t wait to be part of the next expo.
